New York and Paris Fashion Week.

Jessica attended the Fall Fashion Week this year in New York and then headed to Paris for a fashion week a few weeks later. The show featured a few shows, namely Tory Burch, Narciso Rodriguez, Ralph Lauren – New York, Valentino and Longchamp – Paris. At least I know about these Parisian ones, because there were photographs of them. I think she was at the Kenzo Fashion Show, but I’m not sure about that, so I don’t want to lie and invent. So let’s start.

  • Tory Burch (New York Fashin Week)

Jessica was sitting on the show in the first place, of course. This fashion show was held on September 13 in New York, as the title suggests. The sponsor of the show was her company Honest Beauty, which supplied cosmetics behind the scenes. Jessica mentioned this on twitter, where she wrote: “I can’t wait for all the great looks and all the accessories, plus Honest Beauty products helped create these key and important moments.” And what did Jessica have on the show? Jeans. But not only are the Jessica Alba x DL1961 brands .

  • Narciso Rodriguez (New York Fashion Week)

Another show where Jessica sat in the front row. Well, it was to be expected. It is a show by designer Narciso Rodriguez. She had nice makeup on this show. I didn’t like the dress very much, but I admit, I don’t understand fashion very much and I am not a special fashion expert, so it is a fact that someone may like the dress. Anyway, what excited me is shoes. These are Pierre Hardy brands.

And that’s all friends for today. To be continued.

Christian Dior 2016

a02

Like every year, Jessica attends a fashion week in Paris . Mostly she attends more shows, but this year she seems to have only visited one, because of that came photos. It is possible, however, that she was on more shows, from which did not appear photos, but who knows (plus Balmain party, but I do not count as a show). This year it looks only at Dior Fashion Show . Well, a little bit now, though. Jessica chose a blouse and trousers for the show, that untypical combination, at least for me, at Jessica, you are more used to dress. The pants she wore were of course from the Dior collection (Pre-Fall 2016). Jessica suited it, although initially my opinion of the outfit was “God, what is it, maybe it’s not even possible, why is it doing it?!?”, But eventually I got used to it. It’s not my cup of coffee, but it doesn’t look that bad.

Boo George (DL1961)

Celebrities that design their own collection have been ubiquitous lately. And it’s hard to tell which celebrity is fashion and which isn’t. Apparently, Jessica plunged into it, too. She became the face of the DL1961 and is doing a campaign on jeans (about 10 styles in total), which I call them JAxDL . Everything gets to the shops and at DL1961.com in August. So far, however, no one has expressed how much it will cost. Her campaign was shot by Boo George . Jessica herself said that this was her first entry into fashion design, but that she knew she wanted to design clothing for women of every type of character. So let’s see how she does everything, because it looks like standard sizes from 24 to 32 should be available. And now her photos and videos to accompany the campaign.

Videa: tady, tady, tady

Narciso Rodriguez fashion show.

Jessica took part in Narcissus Rodriguez’s show , he’s one of her favorite fashion designers, so she just had to attend. She went to the show with her husband Cash Warren, they had such a married date. She was also on the show with Michael Warren, Cashe’s father. Jessica was really fine, she was wearing a blue Kurt Geiger dress.

Tory Burch fashion show.

Another show Jessica was attending was Tory Burch , which took place on September 15 at Avery Fisher Hall, New York. Jessica was also seen on the show with Maggie Q and model Liu Wen and fashion guru Derek Blasberg . Jessica wore a dress with flowers that looked quite ordinary, but they were really pretty and beautiful.

Thakoon fashion show.

Jessica’s first show was Thakoon’s show at SIR Stage37 on Sunday, September 13th. She was wearing such – well, how to say it – leisure and social clothes. It wasn’t a dress, and probably not much extra, but it still looked good. She added everything with her smile.

Jessica Alba covers Self Magazine’s September 2012 issue

Two months after shooting the covershoot (see pics here) with photographer Ben Watts, Jessica’s Self cover along with interview excerpts and outtakes have been released.

This Marks Alba’s third cover for the magazine (previously July, 2005 & February, 2010). Check out the interview and outtakes below, and scans to follow ones it becomes available in the UK.

On Landing the cover: “It’s an honor to be asked to be a part of SELF magazine. I really love what SELF stands for and what it does for women and women’s confidence. I loved the clothes at the shoot—I thought they were really fun and colorful.”

Her Cause: Alba’s company, Honest, makes and sells eco-friendy baby, bath, body and household products. A portion of proceeds goes to children and families in need via Baby2Baby.

How you can help: Call your senator to support the Safe Chemicals Act, which would require testing of chemicals in household products. Or visit Honest.com for info on Baby2Baby, her company’s nonprofit partner.

The Spark: “I found my daughter Honor sitting in her crib, eating these tiny beads from the inside of her diaper. They were all over her face. It was a moment of terror.”

The Harsh Reality: “Thankfully, Honor was OK, but it was so crazy, and I felt guilty afterward. I worried that I’d poisoned my daughter—and these were eco-diapers! I found ones that seemed safer, but they leaked, so I had to use two at once, and they were already so expensive. The more research I did, the more irritated I got. Most parents don’t have time to do all this research—they need a company with products they can trust. I wanted to create that.”

The Hope: “If you have toxic chemicals in your dish soap, laundry detergent, lotion, mattress and food, they get into your system and add up. It’s cumulative. My philosophy is that if we can try to eliminate all those little bits along the way, everyone will have a better shot. I want people to know that they have the power to make different choices for themselves and for their family. That could save lives.”

The Advantage: “I can’t think of a better way to spend my work life than on a movie set. But with people following me when I go out and everyone wanting me to endorse things, I thought, I can either go into a cave and hide or use my access to influence something I’m passionate about. So I turned the attention into a positive by offering safe, nontoxic, affordable but high-quality products for families, all from one place.”

The Passion: “It took me 3 1/2 years to launch The Honest Company. When things didn’t go smoothly, I’d get really upset. I worried that I was wasting so much time and money! But my husband, Cash, would tell me, ‘You didn’t waste anything. Look how much you’ve learned.’ His perspective kept me going.”
