While filming Dark Angel in January 2000, Jessica Alba began a three-year relationship with her co-star Michael Weatherly. Weatherly proposed to Alba on her twentieth birthday, which she accepted. In August 2003, Alba and Weatherly announced that they had ended their relationship.

In 2004 while filming Fantastic Four Jessica Alba met and began dating Cash Warren, son of actor Michael Warren. Alba and Warren married in Los Angeles in May 2008 in an extremely private ceremony.

Together Alba and Warren have two daughters: Honor Marie Warren (born 2008) and Haven Garner Warren (born 2011).
