Jessica Alba covers West East Magazine’s Fall/Winter issue

As we’ve mentioned on twitter/facebook earlier last month, Jessica is on the upcoming Fall/winter issue of Weast East magazine, and thanks to Dailymail we have some interview highlights and more photos.

She plays a tattooed young woman in her new indie comedy A.C.O.D. But the 32-year-old channels a screen siren of yesteryear in the film noir inspired spread for West East magazine’s latest issue.

In the accompanying interview, the Machete Kills actress opens up about motherhood, work ethic and her business The Honest Company.

‘When it comes to balancing everything, I try to live my life the best I can and I sometimes have to compromise on one thing or another,’ she says.

Alba admits to keeping lists, schedules and labels to make things ‘run smoother and maintain my sanity.’

She also describes her ‘quick but effective’ make-up routine that consists of concealer, cream blush and mascara.

‘It takes 10 minutes and I look like I’ve had a good night’s sleep,’ she says.

But no matter what, her children come first.

‘Ultimately, my children’s health and happiness is my priority, so as long as they’re great everything else just sort of works out.’
