It seems several Hollywood parents had the same idea on Saturday afternoon, and all headed down to the play park.

Jessica Alba bumped into Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane and his wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart at the Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills yesterday where they has all gone to play with their children.

Jessica, who celebrated her 30th birthday last month, sat and chatted to the couple as her daughter Honor Marie played in the sand pit nearby.

Whilst Eric attempted to put his one-year-old daughter, Billy Beatrice’s shoes back on, the two women sat and chatted animatedly and enjoyed the warm weather.

Doting mother Jessica also spent time in the sand box with Honor, three, and helped her build sandcastles with a bucket and spade.

The Fantastic Four star looked casual and comfy in black leggings, a white T-shirt and a black knit cardigan.

She kept her face covered with an oversized pair of vintage sunglasses.

Her husband, and Honor’s father, Cash Warren was noticeably absent from the play date but he has been busy working on a new TV show called Being Terry Kennedy.

Rebecca,39, also looked appropriately dressed for the outing in skinny jeans, flats and a striped tank top, also with a black cardigan over the top.
