Jessica Alba out in Seoul, South Korea – April 23

Jessica Alba was photographed arriving at a hotel in southern Seoul on Monday afternoon (April 23). Below is an interesting article from thejakartapost.com who are speculating that Alba is overseas for business. #getmoney

Rumors are spreading about U.S. actress Jessica Alba signing business deals with Korean companies during her unexpected Seoul trip. Alba was spotted at Kolon’s fashion unit in Gangnam on Monday and also at a celebrity party hosted by CJ E&M vice chairwoman Lee Mi-kyung later in the evening, according to reports.

Kolon is one of the country’s leading textile and fashion companies and creates products for fashion and accessories brands like Couronne, Qua and Elord. CJ E&M is the entertainment and media arm of CJ Group, which owns several cable channels and movie and online game production companies.

The 30-year-old celebrity had an interview with the country’s renowned emcee Baek Ji-yeon on the same day at CJ E&M’s head office in Sangam-dong. CJ officials confirmed that the taping of “Baek Ji-yeon’s People Inside,” took place on Monday afternoon, but did not reveal when the show will air.

Korean emcee Baek, known to be a friend of Alba’s, requested the interview with the American celebrity on a visit to her hotel in Gangnam. The celebrity okayed her request without hesitation, according to reports.

A CJ official said Alba and the CJ vice chairwoman know each other and that Alba attended the party at the invitation of the chairwoman.

“We have no idea how they became friends,” the official added.

Alba, who is currently in Korea on holiday with her family, surprised her fans here by visiting a club and a bar with her husband Cash Warren in southern Seoul over the weekend.

The Hollywood star’s surprise visit to Seoul was exposed online shortly after on Twitter along with pictures taken by people at the club in Nonhyeon-dong and the Apgujeong-dong bar.

Jessica Alba Attends Opening of Tommy Hilfiger’s flagship Store in Tokyo

To celebrate the opening of Asia’s largest Tommy Hilfiger store,  Jessica Alba joined the designer in Tokyo for a special guest appearance.
Helping to opening the new flagship Tommy Hilfiger store in Tokyo, Alba posed for pictures with Tommy Hilfiger himself. As the face behind one of the world’s most successful fashion brands, Hilfiger, 61, wore a pair of fire engine-red pants emblazoned with a slew of thick black racing stripes on the bottom along with a suit jacket, tie and a pair of glossy burgundy loafers.

Alba’s husband, Cash Warren, and Hilfiger’s wife Dee were also in attendance and posed for photos at the opening. The 11,000-square-foot store is located at the intersection of two of the city’s busiest streets and features antique canoes, an authentic New York fire escape, vintage metal signs and leather wrestling benches.

Hilfiger said, “We’ve been in this marketplace for 25 years and we’ve been known to be a casual sportswear company. Now we’re bringing the entire lifestyle to Japan.” He also noted that he admires the Japanese people’s way of building an identity out of experimenting with fashionable trends.

“I think the Japanese people are more daring because they’re not afraid to wear pattern with pattern. They’re not afraid of color so that’s exciting to us,” he said.

Variations on traditional Tommy Hilfiger varsity jackets, cricket sweaters and polo shirts will all be unveiled in store. A special “retro range” has also been created for the growing Japanese market. Click on the previews above to view more photos

Jessica Alba And Michelle Rodriguez In Talks For ‘Machete Kills’

Some good news! Bloody-Disgusting.com is reporting that Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez are ‘in talks’ a.k.a contract negotiations to sign up for the sequel to the cult classic ‘Machete’ . Read the full article below:

Now that director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Predators) and producer Alexander Rodnyansky are in full pre-production swing on Machete Kills a bit of significant casting news is beginning to trickle in. Word has it that Jessica Alba (Idle Hands, Fantastic Four; pictured inside), and Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast And The Furious, Resident Evil: Retribution; pictured inside) are in talks to appear in the sequel. One would presume this means they’re reprising their respective roles as Sartana and Luz, but you never know in the topsy turvy creative universe of Robert Rodriguez.

Machete Kills (as teased in the closing credits of the first Machete), the film is the second in a planned trilogy. Danny Trejo returns as the title character. The first film starred Trejo as Machete as a Mexican, an ex-Federale with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer, and is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator. The sequel will be the first U.S. picture to be produced and financed by Alexander Rodnyansky, whose Hollywood expansion plans include a $120 million film fund with Media Talent Group’s Geyer Kosinski. AR Films U.S. is a new partnership between AR Films and Aldamisa Entertainment, whose Sergei Bespalov will manage worldwide sales of Machete Kills in Berlin.

Rodriguez has hinted that the third film in the trilogy will take place in space. We’ll see on that one. Machete Kills starts filming soon, with Rodriguez set to take the reigns on Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For immediately afterward.

Jessica Alba: actress, wife, mother, and now, author!

Alba, 30, will release The Honest Life, a how-to handbook based on her mission of creating a natural, non-toxic life for her family.

“It’s totally crazy but amazing,” Alba tells PEOPLE of her book news, adding of her lifestyle, “I’m not extreme. This book is for people who are in the middle but want to create a healthier life, like me.”

The actress recently launched her first business, The Honest Company, with business partner and co-author Christopher Gavigan. And her book will detail her life as a mother and entrepreneur, seeking to give her children, Honor, 3 and Haven, 7 months, a better and safer start in life.

The Honest Life will offer tips on how to create a non-toxic home, from design tips to some of Alba’s favorite family recipes. “Honor’s favorite meatball recipe will be in there,” says her mom.

“And I always hide flax seeds in everything,” she explains, keeping it healthy but still tasty for her two girls. The book will also include beauty tips including “homemade” treatments to incorporate into your routine. Among them: simple, fun DIY family projects (Alba and husband Cash Warren refinished furniture for daughter Haven’s room), tips on making sure your home is filled with only the purest of materials and inexpensive ways to find your own authentic style.

“It will be easy and fun and I want it to be really colorful,” says Alba. “I’m a crazy foodie. I love doing projects with my kids. Everything in this book will be something meaningful that I’ve incorporated into our lives. I wanted some kind of handbook with all the information I was consuming so I could apply it in a practical way.”

The Honest Life will be published in early 2013 by Rodale.

Jessica Alba and her 2 girls cover Parenting’s april issue
The mom of two opens up in Parenting’s first-ever “Natural” issue (April, on stands now) about the “Aha” moment that led her to launch the Honest Company (Honest.com), getting back her pre-baby body, the kind of mother she’s becoming, and how she’s finally learned to deal with paparazzi.  Interview highlights include:
  • On explaining the press to her kids: “When the paparazzi follow us, and [Honor] asks me what they’re doing, I tell her, ‘They’re just taking pictures, isn’t that silly?’ I don’t want her to have anxiety, so I tell her they do that to everyone, not just our family.”
  • On her parenting style: “I’m the disciplinarian. I think it’s because I was kind of a naughty kid myself: I’d push my parents’ buttons and test them to see how much I could get away with.”
  • On what matters most: “Before I had kids, I was always so focused on my career…Nothing else really matters to me [now] aside from my children and their well-being.
  • On what inspired her to launch the Honest Company (Honest.com), and create baby products that are as good to look at as they are for the earth: “Once I had bought brown diapers, telling myself, ‘You know what, they’re not cute, but they’re all-natural.’ I was resigned to the fact that anything healthy wasn’t going to be attractive.
